The importance of visioning your life

One of my of favorite blogs is The Kirk Report by Charles E. Kirk. His post about visioning your goals reminded me of the things I planned to accomplish during the last year, some of them I was able to accomplish successfully and some I hope to accomplish in the year to come.

Following Kirk advice I think I will spend the next few days making a list of all the things I wish to accomplish in the following year. I believe a written list will help clarify what are the most important things I need to focus on.

Here is a partial list of the things I need to take care of:

  • Launch ChartStocker international website
  • Successfully manage our portfolio.
  • Find a new daily job (As a project manager)
  • Find a bigger house
  • Have a new baby girl after my two boys (6.5 and 9.5 years old). I think I’m going to make this one a top priority :-)

What’s your goals for the coming year?

In my previous post I mentioned the new path me and my partner have embarked. One task is to manage a portfolio for a client. We decided to start with a moderate portfolio of ~128,000$.

It’s been a month and a half since we started managing the portfolio and I’m happy to say it’s going very well. We were able to gain more than 5% in this period.

I’m attaching a couple of screenshots of the portfolio taken on January 8th, 2010. The image shows a list of all the open trades.

I will post new screenshots of the portfolio from time to time to keep you updated.

Let me know which stocks you currently hold.
